Into the square

Last year’s study was all about experimenting with different print techniques and this year I really want to explore more 3 dimensional form. When I think about squares, Josef Albers’ square studies immediately come to mind, and I had been fortunate enough to see an original for sale at the London Art Fair a couple of weeks ago (although not fortunate enough to be able to afford it!) I decided to make a 3 dimensional version, and then twist the cubes to see what shadows forms they created.
